Kitten Name Ideas...
by Tuesday inso my wife and i just recently got 10 week old kittens.
we're trying to come up with names for them.
since it's a boy and a girl which are brother and sister my wife suggested luke and leiah, i suggested he-man and she-ra, we've suggested princess guienivier bananahammock and bob, sampson and delilah, adam and eve...it's been a long process.. so last night in i guess a semi-ephiphany i was thinking of classic literature and came up with alice and the mad catter.

I've watched it. Yes, it's quite long but its so interesting that it doesn't feel almost an hour in length. It's very good and at the end of the day is the experience of someone who isn't a JW. The comparision is very strong but because it isn't a dub, jws might also be willing to watch it and maybe it trigger something in them.

by processor inaccording to german april issue of our kingdom ministry, the watchtower logo must be removed from all kingdom halls:.
it sais that the watchtower logo - a stylised watchtower or a watchtower with a bible - is used by the watchtower society.
thus, it should not be used by congregations or private persons, neither on kingdom halls, stationary or anything else.

Might the Watchtower Society be preparing accept EVOLUTION soon?
by slimboyfat ini heard a public talk last week that was all about evolution and how it dishonours god, and it struck me just how out of date and confused many of the ideas presented were.
the speaker used the old example of the giraffe's neck, but made the classic mistake of mixing up darwin's theory of natural selection and lamarckism by poking fun at the idea a neck stretched through use could be passed on to offspring.
i wondered how an otherwise intelligent person (as this speaker is) could make such an elementary mistake.. it occurs to me that the society has been writing less and less against evolution in recent years, so there is less up-to-date ammunition for brothers to draw upon in talks.

No. Have you not seen the Feb Awake? Back to the usual out-of-context quoting and old school reasonings.
They can't pick and choose who was created and who evolved because the proof shows humans came from animals so they'd have to ignore that huge amount of evidence. I've just written a pretty long and in-depth email on this subject to a jw who was an evolution-believing atheist before she got converted. So it's kinda fresh in my memory.
I don't think they'll change their view on it. There's too much to unwrite in their publications if they do.

by jetery ini remember there was this heavy metal group called wasp.
some of the witnesses said it stood for we are satans people and that wasnt even true.
stairway to heaven by led zeppelin was a no-no because they said if u played it backwards it talked about worshipping the devil.

Anything by Micheal Jackson was totally forbidden. However, Janet was ok. Apparently she wasn't disfellowshipped (?)
Wasn't allowed watch Dirty Dancing coz of the title.
Our very conservative PO's daughter was a HUGE madonna fan although she thought saying "Flip" was a swear word! I kid you not!

Spending hours and hours and hours shopping for a skirt that was not too long, not too short and not see-through! Grrr...what a waste of time and money! I hated wearing skirts
